My children had a great time with Sheila. I had 3 children at my home for a 2 hour table manners / thank you note writing session and they were engaged the entire time. Even my 5 year old son participated for 1 solid hour. My daughter has been eager to demonstrate her 'European' table skills and is anxious to WOW everyone when we host Thanksgiving. I decided to get a jump start on the holiday season this year and hired Sheila to give me a refresher on dining etiquette, particularly some basic rules to remember when hosting a holiday party or gathering. I really enjoyed the experience! She was very professional, knowledgeable and attentive. She suggested reasonably priced places to purchase dishware and cutlery. She had ideas on how to nicely decorate the table. She even provided some ideas for drinks and desserts that are simple to prepare and that she thought my guests might like. All of my questions were answered and I feel confident that when my twenty guests arrive for Thanksgiving, it will go off without a hitch! Melanie W.
My 2 kids have always been "good" when I take them into restaurants or when we sit around the table for meals. There's always room for improvement though and my kids were tired of MOM telling them what to do / what not to do and I was tired of the eye rolling I was getting from them. Sheila took my kids and reinforced the manners they knew and helped them to put it into practice. Further, she taught them etiquette that extended beyond the table. My kids looked forward to each class and I looked forward to each week after class when I could watch them sharpen their new skills. I applaud Sheila for the superb results she produced in my kids. Sheila is a warm and inviting host. She made the children (6, 9 and 13) and I feel very comfortable. The children were eager to please her and they learned a lot.
